I was born and raised in LaGrange, GA. I graduated from Callaway High School where I lettered in baseball and football. Growing up, baseball has always been my passion and I took that passion into college. I earned an athletic scholarship to play for Andrew College and finished my collegiate career at Berry College in Rome, GA. I spent majority of my baseball career as a catcher and loved being the leader on the field. After my eligibility expired, I stayed to obtain my degree in exercise science. Because I had to hang the cleats up, my passion shifted to lifting weights. Due to playing high school and college sports, I gained a well-rounded knowledge of lifting. I quickly fell in love with powerlifting and used it to fuel my competitive drive. Since then I’ve competed in several powerlifting meets with the USAPL. While continuing to improve my lifts, I am now continuing my education. I am currently enrolled at UGA to obtain a master’s degree in clinical exercise physiology.
Over the years, I have transitioned from being an athlete for sport to being a life athlete, striving to be a better version of my everyday. Anything life throws at me, I’m prepared to swing away.
